ΒΟΜΒΑ ΣΤΟ ΠΑΛΑΤΙ: Πρίγκιπας Χάρι και Μέγκαν Μαρκλ παραιτήθηκαν από τα πριγκιπικά τους καθήκοντα

«Ύστερα από μήνες προβληματισμού και συζητήσεων, επιλέξαμε να κάνουμε μία μετάβαση φέτος», σημειώνεται στην ανακοίνωση, ενώ τονίζεται:

«Σκοπεύουμε να αποποιηθούμε από τον ρόλο των "ανώτερων" μελών της βασιλικής οικογένειας και να εργαστούμε για να αποκτήσουμε την οικονομική μας ανεξαρτησία, ενώ θα συνεχίσουμε να στηρίζουμε πλήρως της Αυτού Μεγαλειότητά της, τη Βασίλισσα».

«Σχεδιάζουμε τώρα να ισορροπήσουμε τον χρόνο μας μεταξύ του Ηνωμένου Βασιλείου και της Βόρειας Αμερικής, συνεχίζοντας να τιμάμε το καθήκον μας στη Βασίλισσα, την Κοινοπολιτεία και τις παραδόσεις μας», υπογραμμίζουν Χάρι και Μέγκαν, οι οποίοι τους τελευταίους μήνες δεν έκρυψαν τη δυσκολία που αντιμετώπιζαν μπροστά στην πίεση των ΜΜΕ, που σχετιζόταν με τα καθήκοντά τους.
