Τραγικό δυστύχημα με τουλάχιστον 20 ναύτες νεκρούς και δεκάδες ακόμα αγνοούμενους, σημειώθηκε σε ναυτική άσκηση του Ιράν.
Σύμφωνα με πληροφορίες από τα αραβόφωνα δίκτυα, τουλάχιστον 40 ναύτες αγνοούνται, ενώ δεκάδες είναι οι τραυματίες.
Όπως μεταδίδουν τα αραβικά Μέσα, το τραγικό ατύχημα προήλθε μετά από λάθος χειρισμό και εκτόξευση αμυντικού πυραύλου από έναν καταστροφέα του ιρανικού στόλου, εναντίον πολεμικής φρεγάτας, στη Θάλασσα του Ομάν.

#UPDATE: It is reported the Iranian Jamaran frigate accidentally fired on the Konarak support ship with an anti-ship cruise missile during exercises.
The Jamaran is a Moudge-class frigate armed with 4 C-802 (Noor) anti-ship cruise missiles. This is likely what was launched.
